PlayHaven is a community unlike any other. We are committed fully to the pursuit of happiness through shared play. Instead of a work ethic, we embrace a Play Ethic. PlayHaven organizes and promotes events that are open to the public, cost little or no money to attend, and involve music, dance, poetry, movement, art, humor, rhythm, crafts, make-believe, and other forms of play. Our intention is to help individuals discover their unique Call to Play and to create community Centers throughout the world where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together in the spirit of fun and celebration. 

Besides being enjoyable and rewarding, PlayHaven's approach to play has a number of other benefits:

• Spiritual development. We advocate a play-based approach to spirituality that revolves around the notion of Divine Play.
• Sense of community. PlayHaven's events and activities take the form of Play Circles.
• Financial freedom. Our Play Ethic creates opportunities for people to become increasingly independent of jobs, careers, and work situations that lack fulfillment or inspiration.
• Health, Sustainability, and Balance. We recognize the Power of Play to help create positive, lasting social change.

PlayHaven is completely independent. We are not affiliated with any political party, religion, or corporate interests. We seek only to immerse ourselves in the experience of play and to share the benefits of our play with others.
